Joys100 - Monoaxial joystick without contact


It supplies a proportional voltage related to the lever position

When the joystick is supplied (5V), and the lever is no moved, on Up there are 2.5V ±0.2V (compared to GND); in the same conditions on Ud1 and Ud2 there are 0.5V ±0.2V. Moving the lever in a direction, there is a voltage variation on Up, that is proportional to the angle of the lever – 71mV for degree. The output Ud1 voltage is 0.5V when the lever is on rest, and it is 4.5V ±0.2V after 2 degrees of lever movement. Similarly, the output Ud2 voltage is 0.5V when the lever is on rest, and it is 4.5V ±0.2V after 2 degrees of the lever movement in the opposite direction. When Ud1 output voltage is 4.5V, the Ud2 one is 0.5V, and vice versa.

Moving the lever in a direction, there is a voltage variation on Up, that is proportional to the angle of the lever –142mV for degree. The output Ud1 voltage is 0V when the lever is on rest, and it is like supply voltage after 2 degrees of lever movement. Similarly, the output Ud2 voltage is 0V when the lever is on rest, and it is like supply voltage after 2 degrees of the lever movement in the opposite direction. When Ud1 output voltage is up, the Ud2 one is 0V, and vice versa.
